    How much does it cost to hire J. Alexander Law?
    We don’t charge anything upfront; we only get paid if we recover money for you. Nothing gets paid until we win your case, and it won’t be out of your pocket.

    How long do I have to file a personal injury claim in Texas?
    In a perfect world two years, but the world is rarely perfect, if your accident involved a government vehicle or children it could be as little as six months.

    What if I was partly at fault for the accident?
    Even if you were partly at fault you can still file, the overall percentage of fault will determine how much you can recover, in Texas we follow what’s called modified comparative fault.

    Will my case have to go to trial?
    Most cases will resolve before trial, whether or not it goes to trial depends on the facts of your case, regardless our team prepares as if we’re going to trial with every case.

    What should I do right after an accident?
    Get yourself checked out first, try to document as much as you can, don’t give any recorded statements, do not sign authorizations. Then call the firm and we can guide you through the next 72 hours.

    Do you handle cases in Spanish?
