Truck Tire Blowout
Lawyers in Texas
J. Alexander Law Firm’s truck tire blowout accident lawyers represent people hurt in Texas when a blown tire sends a truck across the lanes hitting you or your family member. From the start, the firm sends a preservation letter to keep the truck’s evidence and dashcam footage, and pulls the police report. Your case manager helps you find doctors and set your appointments. You get updates as the case moves, including when the demand goes out, and nothing settles without your approval.
No fee unless we recover.

What we handle after a tire blowout.
A truck tire blowout is a tire that ruptures under a heavy load and sends the truck across the lanes in seconds. What you remember right after is enough to start, and from there the firm handles each step below, from the scene of the crash to the claim.
-
At the scene
The blowout sent the truck into your lane.
Staff ask whether nearby security cameras or dashcams caught the crash.
Commercial trucks usually have a dash cam of their own, so the firm asks for that footage too.
-
The same day
Tread from the blown tire hit your car.
Staff ask whether you were able to take photos of the damage right after the crash.
You give the team your claim number, and they contact the insurance company on the property damage side.
-
The next few days
The pain in your neck or back got worse.
Providers at the firm’s clinics get paid at the end of your case, the same way the firm does.
After your first visit, the medical coordinator can refer you out for more treatment if you need it.
-
The first weeks
The trucking company’s insurer starts calling.
Your case manager goes back to the adjuster for more money and calls you back with the answer.
You do not have to give the insurance company a statement yourself.
-
As the claim builds
The trucking company says the blowout was nobody’s fault.
The insurance company tells the firm who owns the truck, and some trucking companies pay claims themselves instead of through an insurer.
Once treatment ends, staff send the insurer a demand: one package with your records and bills.
-
Whenever you are ready
You are ready to call the firm.
When the office is closed, you get a call back by noon the next business day from a case manager or attorney.
Every call comes in to the firm first and goes straight to your case manager, so the same person handles it.
The trucking company may blame the tire, and the tire maker may blame the trucking company. Federal rule 49 CFR 392.7 requires a truck driver to check the tires before every trip, and 49 CFR 396.3 requires the carrier to keep maintenance records for a year and for six months after a truck leaves its control. The firm asks for those records and for the tire itself, including the date code on its sidewall.

Witnesses reported that an 18-wheeler had been swerving across lanes on I-30 in Mesquite before it hit our client’s car. The crash report listed an unsafe lane change and a failure to control speed, and the legal team negotiated with the report and the witness accounts, along with the available video. J. Alexander Law Firm resolved the case for $600,000.
This crash was not a tire blowout. Every case is different. Past results do not guarantee a similar outcome.

Waiting to call a lawyer after a truck crash is normal
“If all you want is your car fixed, call anyway. We take nothing from your car repair or rental payment.”
You may be waiting for a real reason. Maybe you felt fine until the next morning, or you are worried about the cost. Maybe you are not trying to sue anyone and only want your car fixed. Callers bring every one of these to the firm, and each one has an answer.
You should call when…
-
You just want your car fixed
You do not have to sue anyone to get help. The team starts on your property damage claim right away.
-
Cost is what’s stopping you
Nothing is paid up front. Everything gets paid at the end of the settlement.
-
The pain shows up the next day
One client said, “I thought I was okay and then a few hours later I started getting all these like aches and pains.” Treatment can still start then.
-
The other driver is undocumented
That status has nothing to do with your case, and it does not hurt your claim.

Clients who were kept informed
Two clients in their own words, word for word from their videos.
I wasn’t, you know, kept in the dark or anything. I knew pretty much everything that was going on with the case.

Alexander Law Firm does not create an attorney-client relationship, which is formed only by a signed written agreement. Please do not share confidential information until a representation agreement is in place. Case results described here were obtained on behalf of clients across Texas and Oklahoma; they are not necessarily tire blowout crash outcomes, and past results do not guarantee or predict a similar outcome in any future case. Every case is unique and depends on its own facts and the insurance coverage available. The firm handles many matters on a contingency-fee basis, meaning no attorney fee is owed unless a recovery is obtained; clients may still be responsible for case costs as set out in their agreement. Time limits, including the Texas statute of limitations and shorter deadlines for claims involving government entities, can permanently bar a claim if missed; speak with an attorney promptly about the deadlines that apply to you.
