A crash report provides a first glimpse into an injury claim. It tells us where the wreck happened, who investigated it, which vehicles were involved, who drove, who owned the vehicles, what insurance information was exchanged, and how the officer described the wreck.
Start with a report number, photographs, exchange of information cards, dashcam footage, screenshots, or insurance information from the other driver.
If you search in the wrong portal or call the wrong department, you may spend days looking for a crash report that does not exist.
Irving Police may have responded, but a crash near DFW Airport, on a state highway, near city boundaries, or outside Irving may have been handled by another agency. We determine the correct agency first.
