Client Video: Hit on a Freeway in the Rain

“A lady who just got off a 12 hour shift was in her left. She was sleepy.”

Driving in the rain, Quinton was sideswiped by a tired driver who drifted over from the next lane, and his car left the freeway.

His car slid about 50 yards through wet grass and mud, a sign struck the driver’s side window, and the car was a total loss. He later dealt with shoulder, hip, and side pain, plus headaches.

We are not presenting Quinton’s wreck as a Lewisville crash. It shows how one sideswipe can become a far worse wreck, and his outcome does not predict another case.

    We Preserve Evidence Early

When a case calls for it, we send preservation requests early, often before a lawsuit is filed, to help protect the evidence that may matter later.

We Look Beyond the Other Driver’s Policy

The other driver’s insurance may be only one source of payment. We also review your own coverage, including personal injury protection, uninsured or underinsured motorist coverage, medical payments coverage, and collision coverage.

Depending on the crash, we may also look for coverage through the vehicle owner, an employer, a commercial policy, a rideshare company, or an umbrella policy.

    Results With the Supporting Record

Our case result pages explain what happened in the crash, the injuries involved, the available insurance, the insurer’s position, and the gross recovery.

Some pages also include crash photographs or a redacted police report, so readers can review the underlying record for themselves. Open an example.

If we do not recover money for you, you owe no attorney fee or case costs. We do not take a percentage of payments for vehicle damage or a rental car. Read our fee guide.

    Quick Settlements

Six of our published case results settled before a lawsuit was filed, from a $50,000 policy limit in Allen to $175,000 after a construction vehicle crash in Round Rock.

A claim that settles without a suit skips the months of court deadlines a lawsuit adds. Speed only helps when the number is right, so the demand goes out once your records show the full injury, and if the insurer holds out, we file suit. See the results.

What we do What it covers
We handle urgent steps We notify insurers, request the crash report, preserve available video and vehicle data, look for all applicable insurance policies, and help you understand your medical care options.
We investigate the full crash We examine what happened before the first impact, every later impact, where the vehicles stopped, and which collision may have caused each injury.
We keep you informed A case manager is assigned to you by name, and you get a direct line plus a text option. We provide updates every 14 days and aim to return calls within one business day.
We help with practical problems We explain what to save for the vehicle claim, discuss care options if you do not have health insurance, and handle insurer calls so you do not have to deal with adjusters alone.
We prepare for a dispute Most claims settle without a trial. We still prepare for disputes about fault, injuries, or value, and we explain the next step if the insurer refuses to make a fair offer.

No statistic can prove who caused your crash. But these numbers help explain why many Lewisville claims involve freeway ramps, lane changes, rear end collisions, and multivehicle impacts.

How We Counted

On September 30, 2026, we ran a public TxDOT CRIS query for reportable crashes listed in Lewisville from 2021 through 2025. The report city is the city entered by the investigating officer. It is not a strict map boundary.

Crash totals count crashes. Deaths, injuries, and people involved are counts of people.

“Fatal or serious” means the crash had a K severity code for a death or an A severity code for a suspected serious injury.

Roadway names come from TxDOT’s located street field. Crash types come from the investigating officer’s manner of collision code.

Interchange totals include only records tied to both roads, so they may undercount crashes near an interchange. The hit and run count is a minimum because TxDOT leaves that field blank for some vehicles.

  • The wet corner at Abrams Road in Dallas after the three vehicle crash, with debris near the curb and a police car at the edge of the frame

$105,000 After a Three Vehicle Crash in Dallas

What happened: A driver failed to yield when leaving a stop sign, hit one car, lost control, and struck a second vehicle.

The issue: The insurer opened with a low offer.

What mattered: A police report identifying the at fault driver and complete medical records. The result was the $100,000 policy limit plus $5,000 in UM/UIM coverage.

$50,000 After a Rear End Crash in Allen

What happened: Our client was stopped on northbound U.S. 75 when another driver hit her from behind.

The issue: Pain management treatment began 20 days later. Insurers often point to a treatment gap when challenging an injury claim.

What mattered: A full treatment timeline, from first symptoms through imaging and an injection. The insurer paid its full $50,000 policy limit before a lawsuit was filed.

What happened: Our client had a green light at Legacy Drive and the Dallas Parkway when a company pickup turned across his path.

The issue: The company’s insurer initially refused to pay its full policy limit.

What mattered: A Plano city camera, an independent witness, and the crash report. The case settled after we filed suit.
