05Statutes of limitations

Legal claims are subject to strict filing deadlines. In Texas, most personal injury claims must be filed within two years of the date of injury, and claims involving government entities can have much shorter notice deadlines. Deadlines vary by state and by claim type. Reviewing this Site does not stop, pause, or extend any deadline that applies to your claim. If you believe you have a claim, contact a lawyer promptly.
