A rider can be taken from the crash scene by ambulance while the other driver stays behind to speak with police and the insurance company. By the time you are able to talk, someone may already be saying you were speeding, riding in a blind spot, or came out of nowhere.
The location and type of damage on the motorcycle and the other vehicle can help show how the impact happened. Your helmet, jacket, gloves, boots, photographs, towing paperwork, repair estimates, witness information, and available video may matter too.
