Client Video: Side Impact on the Way to Work

“…I would definitely recommend J Alexander Law at 1-800-INJURED.”

Tanisha was driving straight through Highland Park on her way into the office when a driver she believes had a stop sign struck her blue SUV on the passenger side.

Her knee hurt, and pain set in around her neck and shoulder. She works as an accountant, and long hours at a desk became hard. A friend passed along our number, and the team set up her pain care and checked in with her at least once a week.

Tanisha’s crash happened in Highland Park. Her outcome is hers alone and does not predict the result of any other claim.

$125,000 After an Armored Truck Hit a Family’s Pickup in Brownsville

What happened: A father was driving his two sons on East 14th Street when an armored truck struck the back of his F-150.

The issue: Three people were hurt in one crash, and each claim had to stand on its own medical record.

What mattered: A police report documenting the truck’s failure to control speed, about 10 months of care that included an MRI and nerve testing, and separate claims for the sons, which resolved for $9,000 and $28,000. No lawsuit was needed.

$95,000 After a Company Truck and Trailer Turned Across FM 1788

What happened: Before sunrise near Midland, a company pickup pulling a trailer made a left turn in front of our client. The trailer overturned and then hit his pickup’s front end.

The issue: The company’s insurer pushed back on the first policy limits demand and questioned his head and wrist injuries.

What mattered: The officer’s finding that the turning driver failed to yield, and records that took on the conflicting wrist readings directly. The claim settled before a lawsuit.

$30,000 After a Driver Fled a Crash on FM 1960 West in Houston

What happened: Just after midnight, a Jeep leaving a Raising Cane’s lot crossed into our client’s Escalade, and its driver left without trading information.

The issue: With the other driver gone, there was no at fault insurer to claim against.

What mattered: Her own uninsured motorist coverage, backed by the crash report and photos from the scene. That coverage paid its full $30,000 limit.

Is 1-800-INJURED a law firm?

In Texas, yes. When you call 1-800-INJURED here, you are calling J. Alexander Law Firm, a Texas personal injury firm with six offices in the state.

What does it cost to call?

Nothing. The call and the case review are free, and hiring us costs nothing up front. Our percentage comes out of a recovery, and with no recovery you owe no attorney fee. How contingency fees work.

What kinds of cases do you take?

Injury claims after car wrecks, 18 wheeler and other truck collisions, motorcycle wrecks, people struck on foot, and Uber or Lyft rides, plus wrongful death claims for families who lost someone.

Yes. Calls are answered by our own firm, not an outside call center. Once you hire us, you can ask for your attorney by name and put your questions to the people working your case.

Can I talk to someone in Spanish?

Sí. Help is available in Spanish at every hour, and attorney Laura Rivas is listed as a Spanish speaker on her State Bar of Texas record.

Your Next Step: Call 1-800-INJURED

Call before you sign anything an insurance company sends you or agree to a recorded statement.

When you call, it helps to tell us:

  • Where and when the crash happened
  • Who was hurt, and where each person went for care
  • Which insurance companies have contacted you
  • Any photos, video, or witness names you already have

We will tell you plainly whether we can help, what we would do first, and which policies might pay.

Nobody can honestly promise a settlement amount or a date. What we can promise is a free review, a straight answer, and no fee owed to us if we recover nothing.
