Free Tools and Resources

Tools that translate the law into something you can understand.

This page has six free tools: a decoder for your police report, an injury symptom checker, a rideshare coverage checker, a settlement offer analyzer, a map of Texas crash hotspots, and our student scholarship. All free, no sign-up, no email. Insurance companies count on you not knowing how any of this works; the codes, the coverage rules, the timelines. Each tool takes that advantage away.

Interactive Decoder

Texas Crash Report Decoder

This tool translates the numbered codes on your CR-3 police report; fault factors, injury ratings, vehicle damage scales, into plain English. Type in the codes and get back what the officer actually said about your wreck. Once you can read it, run the Injury Checker next, because a CR-3 rarely lists every injury that shows up later.

USE IT WHEN · you are holding a police report you cannot read
Decode your report
Symptom Checker

Car Accident Injury Checker

This tool shows you which injuries commonly surface days after a crash, so you know what to flag for a doctor. Adrenaline hides whiplash, a concussion, or a disc that has not started screaming yet; answer a few questions about the wreck and what you are feeling to see the pattern. Once a symptom points to a real injury, the next question is whose insurance pays to treat it.

USE IT WHEN · you walked away from a wreck but something still does not feel right
Check your symptoms
Coverage Tool

Rideshare Insurance Coverage Tool

Uber and Lyft coverage changes based on what the driver’s app was doing at the moment of the crash; offline, waiting for a ride, or carrying one. Answer a few questions and see which policy was in play for your wreck, and how big it is. Once you know which policy pays, the Settlement Offer Analyzer tells you whether their number reflects it.

USE IT WHEN · an Uber, Lyft, or delivery driver hit you, or you were the passenger

Offer Analyzer

Texas Settlement Offer Analyzer

The first offer is almost never the last one, and the adjuster knows what your claim is worth before you do. Enter the number they offered, your medical bills, and where your treatment stands; the tool runs the same math a lawyer runs, from how shared blame lowers your payout (Texas calls this comparative fault) to what actually lands in your pocket, and tells you whether the offer holds up.

USE IT WHEN · an insurance company put a settlement number in front of you
Analyze the offer
Interactive Map

Most Dangerous Intersections in Texas

A map of the crossings where Texans get hurt the most, built from TxDOT crash data. Find the intersections near you, see what makes each one dangerous, and know where to drive like everyone else is distracted; because someone usually is.

USE IT WHEN · you want to know if your wreck happened at a known hotspot

Scholarship

Educational Sponsorship

We put money behind students the same way we put backpacks in every hand at Dunbar Elementary; directly. Read who qualifies, what to submit, and the dates that matter for the current award cycle. It runs on the same principle as the tools above: help first, with no bill attached.

Why a law firm builds free tools

We built these six tools because clients kept asking the same questions from the kitchen table: what do these codes mean, whose insurance pays, what happens next. The honest answer is that the system is built to be confusing, and the confusion has a beneficiary; it is not you.

The numbers behind them come from public Texas sources: TxDOT crash records for the intersection map, the state’s CR-3 code definitions for the report decoder, Texas insurance rules for the coverage checker. We built the answers into tools anyone can use, client or not, at 2 a.m. on a phone in a hospital waiting room. No sign-up walls, no email capture, no obligation. If one of them helps you handle things on your own, that is a good outcome. If it shows you that you need a lawyer, you know where we are.

“Insurance companies are built to pay out as little as possible. My job is to make sure that changes; and that starts with you understanding exactly what you are looking at. These tools are that, for free, whether you ever call us or not.”

A tool can decode the report; it cannot make the insurance company pay. If what you found here raises more questions than it answers, that is usually the sign. Free consultation. No fee unless we win. Se habla español.
